These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Electra27 website, campaign management platform, subscription services and related functionality.
Last updated: 15 August 2026
Section 01
Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account, accessing Electra27 or using any Electra27 service, you agree to these Terms of Service and any policies incorporated by reference, including our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree with these Terms, you should not create an account or use the platform.
Section 02
Who May Use Electra27
Electra27 is intended for authorized campaign organizations, candidates, political organizations, campaign staff and other approved users.
Users must provide accurate registration information and must have authority to create or operate the campaign workspace they register.
Section 03
Account Approval
Newly created administrator accounts may require approval by the Electra27 platform administrator before campaign management functions become available.
Electra27 may approve, reject, suspend or disable accounts where reasonably necessary for security, platform integrity, abuse prevention, contractual compliance or other legitimate operational reasons.
Section 04
Account Security
Users are responsible for keeping login credentials secure and must not knowingly provide account access to unauthorized persons.
Activity performed through an account may be treated as activity authorized by the account holder unless Electra27 has been notified of unauthorized access.
Section 05
Plans, Trial Access and Payments
Electra27 may offer different campaign packages, subscription prices, trial periods and commercial terms depending on campaign scope or agreed service requirements.
Where a trial is offered, access may become restricted after the trial expires until the applicable subscription payment has been completed and verified.
A manually entered payment reference or M-Pesa transaction code does not automatically establish payment. Electra27 may require verification before activating paid access.
Package pricing, access periods and payment terms displayed during registration or payment form part of the applicable subscription arrangement.
Section 06
Acceptable Use
Users must use Electra27 lawfully and responsibly and must not use the platform to gain unauthorized access to systems, interfere with platform security, distribute malicious software, impersonate other persons, commit fraud or violate applicable law.
Users must not intentionally upload information they are not authorized to possess, use or disclose.
Section 07
Campaign Content and Data
Campaign administrators remain responsible for the accuracy, legality and appropriateness of campaign information and content entered into their workspace.
Electra27 provides technology for organizing and managing campaign activities but does not guarantee the accuracy of user-entered data or the outcome of any election or political campaign.
Section 08
Election and Legal Compliance
Users are responsible for ensuring that their use of Electra27 complies with applicable electoral, campaign-finance, privacy, communications and other laws or regulatory requirements relevant to their activities.
Electra27 should not be treated as legal advice, electoral advice or a substitute for advice from an appropriately qualified professional.
Section 09
Availability of the Platform
We aim to keep Electra27 available and reliable, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed.
Access may occasionally be interrupted by maintenance, upgrades, internet outages, hosting failures, third-party service failures, security incidents or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Section 10
Limitation of Responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Electra27 is provided as a campaign management and technology service and does not guarantee electoral success, political outcomes, fundraising outcomes, voter behaviour or campaign performance.
Users remain responsible for decisions made using reports, analytics, financial information, maps, messages and other information available through the platform.
Section 11
Suspension and Termination
Access may be suspended or terminated where an account is inactive, payment obligations have not been met, a subscription has expired, security concerns exist, these Terms are materially violated, or continued access would expose Electra27 or others to unreasonable risk.
Section 12
Changes to the Service or Terms
Electra27 may introduce new features, modify existing functionality, update subscription arrangements or amend these Terms as the platform develops.
Material updates to these Terms will be reflected in the version available on the Electra27 website. Continued use following an applicable update may constitute acceptance of the updated Terms.
Section 13
Governing Law
These Terms are intended to operate subject to the laws applicable in Kenya. Any dispute should first be addressed through reasonable good-faith efforts to resolve the matter directly.
Where a dispute cannot be resolved informally, applicable Kenyan law and competent Kenyan courts or other legally recognized dispute-resolution mechanisms may apply.
